FAQ
-
Can a landowner build on his/her own land, in PMR?
You should contact the Association first, and they can advise you of the covenants. It's better to go ahead and get permission based on the knowledge of easements, etc. Due diligence is a good policy to follow & is listed as one of the seven capital virtues.. The best way to contact a board member is via email so that your proposal will be in writing.
-
Is there any law enforcement out at PMR?
No, there are no regular police patrols. Many “old-timers” recommend calling for the New Mexico State Police before local Cibola County Law Enforcement, due to past incidents when the later responded. The NM State Police are always on call for serious matters & emergencies. For emergency calls or after hours, Dial 911
-
What do people do all day out at PMR--those who live there full time?
It varies. Hobbies, road work, gardening, reading. Some folks smoke pot now that it’s as legal as Ding-Dongs or Wonderbread. Internet service is usually pretty good, too, for many people who enjoy music or reading. YouTube is very popular.
-
Can you volunteer for a PMR Board position if you've already been on the Board in the past?
Yes! You need to be an Association member in good standing (paid in full), but board members are ALWAYS needed, and those who wish to volunteer their time are very welcome!
-
How can we get in touch with Board members to ask questions pertaining to our property, invoice fees, or other questions?
Please direct all questions to the PMR email address: pinemeadowspoa@gmail.com. From there, the PMR Secretary will forward your questions on to the appropriate Board members; i.e. PMR Treasurer, etc.

Annual Meeting Information
Once a year there is an annual board meeting with the current board as well as residents to discuss community ideas, comments, questions, and concerns. This is also a time to inform the PMR community of the actions the elected board members will be taking in the coming year. Information on meeting dates will be posted below. Mask mandates have been lifted, as a result you are not required to wear one.
